H G Stratton source lamb locally through the months of April to September while the lamb is young and succulent .We then move over to the Orkney islands where the quality is great for the rest of the year. So we can guarantee good quality Lamb all year round.

H G Stratton are specialist pie makers. We are renowned in the area for the quality pies with an unreal taste. The pies are all handmade on the premises and we only use the finest ingredients. Try our steak and kidney pies they are fantastic, but I don't know whether they are as good as my granny used to make. We do a vast range of pies - chicken and mushroom, mince and onion and a range of pasties too, come in and judge for yourself.

H G Stratton makes a great range of quality sausages from traditional pork to pork and chive. The sausages are all hand made on the premises using methods passed down from generation to generation, some 68 years experience. Here at Strattons we only use the best ingredients mixed together with good quality lean pork to produce a great tasting pork sausage.

All of our beef here at H G Strattons proudly comes from the Orkney Islands where it is hung for 14 days in sides to maximize its flavour and its tenderness. The beef is then brought down by refrigerated lorry every Monday morning where we hang it for another 7 days. The beef comes with certificates of authenticity that gives you the customer complete confidence in our products. Come in and give one of our steaks a go, or a piece of Rolled sirloin for Sunday dinner and the Taste will speak for itself.

HG Strattons also provide a catering service, where we can supply cooked meats, quiches etc laid out onto platters ready for use at all your functions. We now also do barbecues if required where we can cook our own burgers, sausages and kebabs all of which are produced in store

At HG Strattons, we now have a snack bar where you can purchase great tasting filled rolls, jacket potatoes, pizzas and various pies and pastries all ready to eat.

H G Strattons has been producing great cottage pies for some time now with a lot of success. So we decided to bring some more products into our range: beef stew, beef stroganoff and Greek lamb and yoghurt. These products will be package in conventional and microwaveable trays with all the cooking instructions you will need to prepare a fantastic meal with no fuss.

Here at Strattons we only buy the best quality English chicken from a wholesaler in Norfolk called banams poultry. Banams have been in the chicken game for a long time now some 40 years, as a family we have dealt of them for 30 years now, supplying fresh chicken to general public.
